Lighthouse World Missions

Why World Missions?

America is the wealthiest country that has ever existed in the history of planet earth. Yet among Christian churches, less than 5% of all offerings are used to reach beyond the communities that the local church ministers to. This is not what Jesus had in mind when He said "Go into all the world and make disciples off all nations" (Matt. 28:19). While we’re not all called to physically go, we can equip, empower, and pray for, those who are called to this awesome work.

How Can I Get Involved?

The Lighthouse Church of God is serious about World Missions. To fulfill the Great Commission, we seek out individuals and ministries that we can confidently partner with in reaching the world for Jesus Christ, and in whom we can have assurance that the gifts given from the local church will be administered as promised. We not only teach giving, but going as well, and during missions trips led by our missions pastor, we have seen people transformed by getting involved in a personal way, with the missionaries we support and pray for in other parts of the world. We’ve even seen people choose to return to the mission field full time, actually becoming missionaries themselves! We invite you to contact our Missions Pastor, Rev. Tom Gray, at 860.564.0445 and become better acquainted with the opportunities for missions involvement here at the Lighthouse. There are yearly missions trips, and we are currently partnering with missions works in various parts of the globe. Prayer is also always a needed commodity.
